Canned Beef Products from Conagara Brands, Inc. Recalled Due To Possible Processing Defect
Roughly 32,400 pounds of canned beef products are being recalled due to a potential processing defect. The processing defect would have allowed for bacterial pathogens to survive in the products. The canned beef items were produced on July 18, 2019.
The affected products are: 15-oz. canned items of “Kaskey’s BEEFY MAC PASTA IN TOMATO & MEAT SAUCE” with Best By JUL 07 2021.
The products that are affected in the recall have an establishment number of EST. 794 inside the USDA Mark of inspection and the products were shipped to retail locations in Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland and Texas.
The problem was discovered during routine testing and activities. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
