Entenmann’s Little Bites Cookies Recalled For Choking Hazard That Spans 36 States
Just days before National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. is having to recall Entenmann’s mini chocolate chip cookies that were sold in a five-pack box “due to the potential presence of visible, blue plastic pieces in the individual packaging pouch,” according to the recall notice posted Thursday on the FDA website
Bimbo Bakeries said in the recall notice, ”The plastic is not baked into the product since it was introduced during the packaging process; however, consumption of the plastic pieces may result in a choking hazard.”
At the time of publication, there have been no reports of injury as a result of the recalled products and no other Entenmann’s products are affected.
