An equipment error that may have resulted in undercooked tuna has prompted Chicken of the Sea to voluntarily recall over 107,000 cans of tuna. The recall includes five-ounce cans of chunk light tuna in oil as well as five-ounce cans of chunk light tuna in water.

Cans of chunk light tuna in oil have a best-by date of 2/10/ 2019, and a UPC code of 0 4800000195 5.

Cans of chunk light tuna in water have a UPC code of 0 4800000245 7, and best-by dates of 2/18/19, 2/22/19, 2/23/19, 2/25/19, 3/2/19 and 3/3/19.

Bumble Bee Foods announced a recall of their tuna yesterday for the same reason.
