Clemson University Student Falls To Death Off Roof With Police Now Investigating
Thomas Heard Few, 20, of Greenville SC fell off the roof of a home on Old Greenville Highway just after midnight on Sunday June 30, 2019. Police rescinded to the scene and found Few on the ground, where he was pronounced dead according to Clemson Police Chief Jimmy Dixon.
While police do not suspect any foul play occurred, the death is under investigation due to the age of the victim and the potential that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the cause of death.
Joe Galbraith, who is the strategic vice president for communications at Clemson, said that the university is aware of the incident and is currently in the process of collecting more information.
Thomas Few was studying construction science and management at Clemson and was also a member of the Kappa Alpha Order fraternity at Clemson.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday according to the Pickens Country Corner’s office.
