Sign Up For COP 2990 Coptic Language I This Summer At The St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School
Registration for summer 2016 classes is now open at the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School (ACTS). Further you education or simply increase your knowledge of the Coptic Christian Orthodox religion when you study at St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School. We seek to provide students with a sound Orthodox Christian Education and better the world through Orthodox Christian theological education, research, and scholarship.
Sign up for your spot in our Coptic Language I class offered this summer. This class is require for both a Certificate of Orthodox Theological Studies, as well as our Masters of Divinity degree program. Coptic Language I will be taught by instructor Dr. Mark Moussa this summer and take place from 6:00-9:00pm. This course will introduce students to the basics of reading Coptic (Sahidic dialect) and is required for taking further Coptic Language courses at ACTS. For Coptic Language I no prior knowledge of the ancient Egyptian language or Greek is required.
Learn Coptic grammar, morphology, syntax, and hundreds of vocabulary words when you sign up for Coptic Language I at ACTS. This classes is a mix of on-campus and online instruction. Additionally sign up for other courses offered this summer at the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School.
