ESPN SportsCenter on the Road to do Live Broadcast at ACO Worlds

ACO Worlds will feature ESPN SportsCenter on Saturday July 11 doing a live show from 9:00 am to Noon.

The Knoxville Convention Center in Knoxville, TN is hosting the ACO World Championships of Cornhole this week from July 8-11. Admission is Free.

In its 10th year the ACO Worlds is shaping up to be the biggest and best Worlds event yet. Saturday July 11 the ESPN SportsCenter on the Road featuring Matt Barrie and Sara Walsh will set up at the Worlds from 9:00 am until Noon. Interviews are planned with the ACO Pros and maybe a cornhole game or two will take place on the set. With the addition of the ACO Slyder Cup, the Worlds now features a variety of events. For 5 days, it is a festival of cornhole in the Knoxville Convention Center.

With competitive and social divisions there is plenty of cornhole for all: World Juniors, World Seniors, Womens Singles, World Doubles, and the featured event, the World Singles, to crown the next King or Queen of Cornhole. Admission is Free. Players will be representing 10 or more States and Canada, and all will be planning to showcase their best. Frank Geers of American Cornhole says, “We want numer X to be special. Without letting the cat out of the bag, we know that it will be.”

The World Singles Grand Prize is $10,000 and that prize could go to any one of a couple dozen players.
