Owensboro, KY to Host ACO 2024 World Championships of Cornhole Season 19 July 22-27

The American Cornhole Organization (ACO) is excited to announce that Owensboro, KY, will once again be the host city for the highly anticipated Season 19 ACO World Championships of Cornhole. This prestigious event will take place from July 22-27, 2024. Owensboro holds a special place in the hearts of ACO members, having been a gracious and welcoming host in previous years.

Michael "Fin" Walter, ACO Announcer and Promoter, and a proud Louisville native, expressed his enthusiasm about returning to Kentucky. He emphasized Owensboro's prime location in the heartland, which makes it easily accessible for many players. The city offers affordable travel options, excellent food and drink, and a variety of accommodations. Walter also noted the tremendous growth and exciting activities in Owensboro since the last visit for Worlds 18.

For the past 19 seasons, the ACO has selected various cities across the United States to showcase its World Championships, attracting top professional cornhole players from all over the country. The 2024 ACO World Championships will be a week-long festival of intense competition, featuring divisions such as Juniors, Seniors, COED Doubles, and Women's Doubles. Additionally, the ACO/AAU Juniors World Championships will be held on July 19-20. The ACO Worlds 19 will culminate in the crowning of the highly coveted title of King or Queen of Cornhole on Saturday.
