ACO World Championships of Cornhole Heading East

For the last three years Las Vegas has been the home of the ACO World Championships of Cornhole, featuring the King of Cornhole, but that is about to change.

American Cornhole has moved their marquee event, the ACO World Championships, to the midwest. On February 3rd-6th, 2011, bags will fly, at the Horseshoe Hotel and Casino in Elizabeth, Indiana. The Horseshoe is just outside of Louisville Kentucky, The ACO World Championships of Cornhole V is a four day carnival of cornhole fun.

The ACO wanted to bring their marquee event into the hotbed of cornhole, the Midwest. Frank Geers President of American Cornhole, LLC., said "It only made sense to showcase cornhole's biggest event in the center of cornhole's biggest fans."

This year the ACO will have its featured event, The King of Cornhole, for the Pros but it is the Social Cornhole Events that are getting the buzz. The Queen of Cornhole has been introduced to make room for the ladies. To date the Queen of Cornhole has registrants representing six different states and registrations continue to come in. Who will be crowned Queen of Cornhole. Are you in?

The King of Sling Tournament is getting attention as well. With interest in the game exploding, there is great demand for competitive social cornhole and the King of Sling will decide the best backyard player. Tickets are still available so make reservations.

The ACO World Championships of Cornhole will feature four days of fun. With seven tournaments, and six world champions to be crowned. Two of the Crowns will go to doubles teams. The World Doubles Championship, and the Social Doubles Championship. Both events give opportunities for serious team competition with the winners making their mark in the world of cornhole.

Even the College Students have their chance for campus bragging rights with the Campus Champ Tournament. This  event is a student cornhole tournament that will crown the Collegiate Champions of Cornhole.

On Sunday the final day of festivities, the SuperHole, a luck of the draw tournament will complete the four days of fun. All four days are all about cornhole with side cornhole carnival events to add to the excitement.
