Green Innovations and its wholly owned subsidiary Green Hygienics announced that Lucky Stores, based in California, has authorized full distribution of the company’s Sensational Bamboo Bath Tissue for distribution in the 78 Northern California Lucky Stores locations.

Looking to meet the eco-conscious needs of its local communities, Lucky Stores turned to Green Hygienics’ Sensational Bamboo line of products – showing support for green initiatives and environmental sustainability.

Different from recycled paper products that are processed with harsh chemicals and contain harmful BPA, bamboo-based paper products are entirely environmentally friendly and sustainable. Among the benefits of bamboo, bamboo groves release 35 percent more oxygen into the air, as compared with a similar-sized stand of trees; since bamboo is a grass, once it’s been cut the root system stays alive and holds water shed, preventing erosion; and as it is so fast-growing, bamboo can yield 20 times more timber than trees.
