Puget Technologies announced the formation of a strategic partnership with Shenzhen Weistek for manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of 3D technology in the United States.

Puget Technologies and Shenzhen Weistek will collaborate through Puget Technologies’ newly formed subsidiary, Weistek USA. According to the terms of the agreement, the companies will jointly collaborate on product development, manufacturing, and marketing of Shenzhen Weistek products, including the award-winning IdeaWerk high-performance 3D printer, to consumers and “prosumers” in the United States. With the partnership, Shenzhen Weistek has also agreed to brand all of its products designated for delivery and distribution in the US under the brand Weistek USA.

The United States is said to be the world’s largest “consumer and prosumer market”. Puget Technologies notes that the partnership will strengthen marketing and selling efforts of high-quality 3D technology as well as well as provide full customer support processes.
