HawksHead TPMS introduces a Semi-Truck Tire Pressure Monitoring System

With tires being a large part of the budget, having them running at the correct pressure reduces tire wear, results in fuel savings and most of all provides safety.

Tire inspections and pressure checks should be made at the start of any trip. This process takes time and money, however with the TnT system all tires can be checked for pressure and temperature by the press of a button prior to departure.

Some think checking the tires before departure ensures a trip that will encounter no problems. However, moving on the highway is where deflations and blow-outs happen. The inside duals are more in-accessible, difficult to view and often don't get as much attention as other wheels. Tires can pick up debris and can start to deflate slowly before overloading adjacent wheels, finally causing a blow-out. In addition to the cost of a replacement tire and perhaps a rim, being immobile at the side of the highway can be a major expense. The HawksHead Tire Pressure Monitoring System allows the driver to monitor all  wheels on the truck and trailer in real time and wirelessly alarms the driver of deflation or over temperature, allowing them to stop before major damage is caused. With the increased use of super single tires the HawksHead TnT has become a major asset in the Trucking industry.

The TnT system device can monitor up to 22 wheels and has it's own power source which also allows hand-held operation if required. The sensors have replaceable batteries enabling low-cost operation for the system life. The core advantage of the TnT system is the ability to cater for "drop and hook fleets" allowing any trailer to run with any truck simply by the touch of a button.

The system can be installed in a very short time, tires do not need to be removed from the rims for sensor installation unlike other systems using this older technology.
