Microsoft Unveils “Kin,” New Social Networking Phone
Microsoft has unveiled “Kin,” their new social networking phone designed to easily connect users with their online friends and upload content.
The new “Kin” from Microsoft was designed to rival the software makers chief competitors like Apple and Google and will be available in the United States beginning in May. Microsoft has not released a price on the phone.
In addition to its phone capabilities the “Kin” comes equipped with a high-resolution camera as well as access to Microsoft’s Zune music service. The phones will have a multi-touch screen as well as a slide-out keyboard.
The focus of the “Kin” phone will be to make social networking from a mobile device easier. Users will be able to store content intended for online sharing in one spot and that information will be accessible from any web browser.
