Landstar System, Inc. (NASDAQ:LSTR) will release the second quarter earnings for 2008 on Wednesday, July 16 following the market close.  The financial results will be discussed in a conference call at 5:00 pm ET that evening.  Interested parties may listen to the presentation via webcast on the company’s website at landstar.com.  The webcast will be on the Investor Relations section under WebCasts.

(Landstar) is a non-asset based transportation and logistics services company, providing transportation capacity and related transportation services to shippers throughout the United States, and to a lesser extent, in Canada, and between the United States and Canada, Mexico and other countries.
