ACO World Championships of Cornhole VI hosted at Harrah’s Casino – Tunica, MS

January 4-9th, 2012 are the dates for the American Cornhole Organization"s ACO World Champiomships of Cornhole

The hottest game in tailgating is coming to Tunica, Mississippi in January, 2012 to celebrate the development of the game and sport of cornhole.  People from across the country will be converging on Tunica in an effort to claim recreational and competitive championship titles with the King of Cornhole title representing the most prestigious award.  The ACO World Championships of Cornhole are being held in a southern state for the first time in its existence after being held in Las Vegas, NV and Elizabeth, IN the past five years.

There are plenty of options for all players to participate in the event.  It will consist of four singles tournaments and five doubles tournaments throughout the weekend.  There will be plenty of side games and challenges also taking place in the event center.  One of the game challenges featured at the event is the “Man Day Challenge” sponsored by Early Times Whisky as the official spirit sponsor of the event.  Total cash and prizes awarded at the event will amount to $15,000 with the possibility of increasing based on total participation.

The best entry value is the “Crew” package.  This package enters a team of four individuals into a competition attempting to win the World Cornhole Cup.  It will be based on the individual and team results in selected tournaments at the event.  This is the inaugural year of the World Cornhole Cup Challenge and brings extra excitement for the event.
