SAB TV participates in Mumbai Cyclothon
Mumbai,: SAB TV, India’s leading family comedy entertainment channel, for the second consecutive year participated in Mumbai Cyclothon, 2011 held on Sunday, January 13, 2011 at MET grounds in Bandra. The Cyclothon kicked off from MET Ground, Bandra in Mumbai and went on for 14 kms.
This being the second year, the fun was twice as much as the last year. Entire cast of all the shows of SAB TV were present to support the noble cause of ‘Burn Fat, Not Fuel!’. Pledge was taken by SAB TV’s entire family including Deven Bhojani and Kishori Godbole (Mrs. Tendulkar) Ami (Kokila) of Papad Pol; Sumeet, Mugdha, and Apara (Apoorva, Arti and Damini) of Sajan Re Jhoot Mat Bolo; Kavita (Chandramukhi Chuatala) of FIR; Nitish Pandey, the Jaankhilavan Jasoos; and the entire team from Lapataganj and Gutur Gu!
SAB TV as a channel has always promoted happy, healthy and family entertainment for the variety of audience. Participation in events like this is a small step towards showcasing how responsible and supportive SAB has been. It helps in reaching out to the hearts of millions of Indians and spread a message in a healthier and happier way.

Deven Bhojani aka Mrs. Tendulkar the newest SAB TV member said, “This is for first time I am participating in a cyclothon and that too with the entire SAB TV family. As a child, I used to enjoying cycling. Obesity is increasing each day in India! Cycling not only promotes good health but also helps reduce pollution. I am thankful to SAB TV and Mumbai Cyclothon team for giving this wonderful opportunity. I am motivated to laugh-and-peddle-it-out for a better tomorrow!”
Sumeet Raghvan and Mugdha Chapekar gasping for breath said, “Participating in Mumbai Cyclothon, we realized how unhealthy our lifestyle has become. The environment is suffering because of us. It was great realization! We are proud that we contributed towards better environment and in doing so took our first step towards an improved health!”
