Gulf Breeze Recovery, a non 12 step substance abuse treatment facility has introduced a powerful new tool to be used in conjunction with their innovative nontraditional treatment program, a neurofeedback system called BrainPaint.

BrainPaint is the top choice for neurofeedback programs among mental health providers and is a welcome addition to Gulf Breeze Recovery’s program. Multiple studies have shown that use of neurofeedback programs, particularly when used along with a powerful recovery program, can dramatically increase abstinence rates. Neurofeedback works with the basic operational functions of the brain and can be used to help guide guests towards longer lasting health and mental balance. It is often used in patients with sleep disorders and insomnia, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Participants have been shown to better tolerate stress, anxiety and anxiety eliciting situations, which has immense benefits for those in the early stages of recovery.
