David Lista Admits to Filming Girls in High School Restroom

David Lista, a high school teacher, confessed on Wednesday to videotaping girls using cameras he installed in the main restroom.

Lista, a teacher at Mills High School in Millbrae, California, had about 35 images of female students on his computer. Millbrae police said that there was a small hole between his classroom and the girls' bathroom. They could not find the camera but they determined that it had to be a very small camera.

Mills High School administrators found the computer after the server at the school began to run extremely slow. That day, Lista had taken off for a sick day. After finding his computer, they immediately gathered a search warrant for Lista's apartment.

When the police got there, they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Lista was arrested on a drug charge, but is on administrative leave until the investigation is complete.

Students say they always thought he was weird, citing his YouTube account laden with wacky videos of Lista at home.

Lista taught English and leadership at the school for 10 years.
