Hyphenics Presents Transmission In Shanghai, January 30 2015
On Friday 30 January 2015, the Hyphenics creative
collective will welcome Gerald Ang to town along with special guest Will A for
the third installment of a new night in Shanghai known as Transmission.
Featuring four DJs playing exclusively on vinyl
all night, this event will be Hyphenics' first foray into URVC (Udance Radio
Vinyl Club), the cracking new brainchild of Shanghai's dance music pioneer,
Dave K.
DJ and producer Gerald Ang (SoulMatters) will
plug in three turntables to showcase his skills before Will A (Rhythm Works)
joins forces on this night dedicated to the art of wax.
Rob Young, a master mixer who weaves his own
brand of slamming magic over the dance floor, will join Gerald and Will on the
night. Support will come in the form of true school hip-hop from New Zealand's
eclectic selector Arctic Penguin.
