KIRA ALEXI Releases 'BLISS' EP
Kira Alexi is an alternative rock American/Filipino singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Kira took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles at age 16 to pursue a career in music. Her music has been noted for her ethereal vocals, complex harmonies and introspective lyrics.
Kira's unique sound is accomplished with the help of her band consisting of international musicians & collaborators, featuring from Mexico, Aldo Vidal on Lead Guitar, Enrique Gomez on Drums and from Ecuador, Juano Argüello on Bass. The new EP 'Bliss' was produced by John Avila, former bassist of alternative legends OINGO BOINGO, who brought his Hispanic & world traveling background to making the music worldly & vibrant.

"I was taken aback," Kira explains, "on seeing girls like Amy of EVANESCENCE & Hayley of PARAMORE rock out with so much conviction and being in control, it inspired me to do it myself & fully express what was inside of me".
Working with 'Indie Icon' Jay Warsinske, founder of INDIEPOWER, with 45 years of helping develop & launch hundreds of popular bands & artists break (WARPED Tour, Ramones, U2, Blink-182, Paramore, twentyone pilots, No Doubt, Sublime, Nirvana, many more) is helping Kira grow her music reaching more music lovers.
