Scuba.com, a leading e-commerce supplier of scuba gear,
unveiled its new Synchronicity
program today. The Synchronicity system is the scuba industry’s first
interactive program that lets companies update product information instantly
through an online interface. Not only
will this bring new scuba gear to scuba divers faster, but it will ensure that
the items they’re browsing are always the most current, top-of-the-line model
available.
This online inventory control tool makes it much simpler for
manufacturers and product marketers to add the latest photos, details, and
pricing for more than 20,000 items currently available through the Scuba.com
site. According to Melinda Herndon of Scuba.com, this new system was built for
companies marketing their product lines through Scuba.com. “In today’s
fast-paced and ever-changing marketplace, it’s critical that customers have the
absolute latest and most up-to-date information about products and accessories.”
She adds, “We were motivated to make it easy for companies
to help us add their new product offerings and alter existing products. The
no-cost Synchronicity tool is an advancement that will help scuba diving
industry shareholders and customers to have the most accurate product
information possible.”
The new program, which is available now, has been tested by
several of Scuba.com’s major suppliers, and is receiving strong positive
feedback.

opportunity to upload the latest product information in a precise and concise

Herndon says that Synchronicity is available free of charge,
and she encourages all Scuba.com suppliers and business partners to contact
Scuba.com to obtain a password, site instructions, and participate in a brief
tutorial. “We created this tool after hours of interaction with our product
partners at the DEMA Show and over the last 12 months. We are grateful to our
trade partners for their support and guidance in creating a system that allows
us to stay synchronized in our product knowledge.”
Scuba.com customers will begin to see the difference almost
immediately, with an increased breadth and scope of new products and accessories,
including pictures and product details straight from the manufacturers.
