Zeta Graff and Paris Hilton reach agreement in $10 million lawsuit
Paris Hilton and Zeta Graff finally reached a settlement in a $10 million lawsuit filed about problems between them back in 2005. The pair reached an “amicable resolution,” but details of the settlement will be kept under wraps.
In the lawsuit Graff accused Hilton of spreading “vicious lies” about her to the media. A report surfaced saying Graff lost control at a nightclub and tried to strangle Hilton. It also claimed Graff tried to steal a diamond necklace from Hilton. Graff claimed the ‘Simple Life’ star tried to get her thrown out of a club and told her “I’m going to destroy you.’
Graff denied she tried to strangle Hilton, and Hilton denied she planted the reports. Her former publicist, Rob Shutter, said that the hotel heiress did plant the story and ask him to help. He provided evidence that Hilton was behind the story.
“Both parties that the matter could be resolved without the time and expense of a trial,” read a statement released by Graff’s attorney.
The trial was set to begin on Monday.
