Industry professionals working specifically in the
healthcare and extended living markets rejoice for printed faux leathers or
what the textile industry calls printed coated fabrics. Printed faux leather will give designers a
more diverse and in many cases a more appealing option when designing areas
that have very specific cleaning and performance requirements. In certain areas of hospitals and extended
living centers using actual upholstery fabric is unthinkable. Printed faux leather allows designers to
incorporate more color, texture and depth into spaces that would have
previously been unappealing and bland.
Anzea Textiles’ first introduction of the year will include five new patterns of printed faux leather. All five are a fresh new look in coated textiles. They all are 100% PVC (polyvinyl chloride) with a polyester knit backing. All five of the patterns are also bleach cleanable and have passed the necessary print retention tests for industry standards. Anzea Textiles will be rolling out this new product introduction in February.
