I’m so delighted to team up with #LidsLoyal / @Lids for this #sponsorpost. Here’s my Lids story: People always ask why I love the Red Sox. I started watching the Red Sox when they were one of the worst teams in baseball. I related to them because I felt like I was the worst too. I was bullied in school, felt like an outsider, was way too different from my peers. I fell in love with the Sox - the handshakes, the chemistry, their energy. I snuck down from my bedroom to watch them win the World Series in 2004 and became even more hooked. The games became all that I looked forward to. Eventually, I got to go to Spring Training and randomly met Carl Beane, the Red Sox PA Announcer. We became buddies and I got to have the experience that most Red Sox fans can only dream of - being on the field, the first fan in the ballpark, meeting the players, signing my name in the Green Monster, the list goes on. The Red Sox saved my life. My friend Carl tragically passed on years ago but he changed my life along with the Red Sox. So Forever, I am a dedicated die-hard Red Sox fan and nothing can change that. They were my first true love that allowed me to escape from deep sorrow to happiness. So…I wear this B hat with pride, because if hadn’t found this team, this logo, this hat, I might not have survived my youth. Red Sox fan for life. 📸: @robbietronic @thefactory_la
