Linda Maria Frank, Author of the Annie Tillery Mystery Series, Offers Her Book-Related Activities to Educators

Author of The Annie Tillery Mystery series, and educator, Linda Maria Frank, reaches out to educators and parents through the Internet. She offers lesson plans and book discussion questions related to her books on her website.

The Annie Tillery Mystery series is just the beginning of a reading adventure for kids from 4th to 9th grade. Teachers will be delighted to find lesson plans based on these exciting stories. The lesson plans are hands-on, and address the common core and existing standards. For parents, Girl Scout leaders, and other social groups, book discussion questions are available on the website.To keep interest piqued, Frank also includes Forensic Trivia posts on her blog and her facebook page, Official Fans of The Madonna Ghost.
Exciting fiction can generate good lessons. Annie Tillery Mysteries are fun, full of interesting places and forensics, and real page turners . Frank refers to them as "Nancy Drew meets CSI".
"The Madonna Ghost", a Fire Island ghost story, mystery and romance, has won the Rising Star Award from publisher, iUniverse, and The Authors Show, 50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading.
"Girl with Pencil, Drawing" explores the glamorous art world of New York City, and exposes a ring of art traffickers.

"Secrets in the Fairy Chimneys" takes Annie to exotic Turkey where archaeologists search for ancient treasures, leading her and her new friends into dangerous caves. Treasure thieves lure them to almost certain death in the mysterious land of the fairy chimneys.
About Linda Maria Frank: 
Frank’s life-long career has been in teaching. She taught science, ending her career in the high school as Department Chairperson, teaching biology, chemistry and forensic science. She went on to teach at Hofstra University, forensic science and biotechnology, also supervising science student teachers at Adelphi University. Presently. Frank has written and now markets her Annie Tillery Mysteries, a series for girls of all ages. She now produces a TV show, The Writer’s Dream, on LTV-EH, a local access station in East Hampton, as well as Long Island Cablevision. She interviews guests who are involved with writing, publishing and marketing in all genres. Her goal is to find venues to help market her books to schools and libraries, eventually gaining entrée into film and television, hoping for the big or little screen, not just Kindle and Nook.
