𝗟𝗲𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 🍋⁣

Born October 4, 2021 at 6:48 pm⁣

Weighing 7 lbs. 4 oz. and 21 1/2” long⁣

She is a dream. She’s been with us for almost 24 hours and hasn’t cried once! Little angel girl.⁣

⁣

She gave us quite the scare yesterday.⁣

⁣

My contractions started at 3:15 am and got to the hospital around 6 am.⁣

⁣

I ended up being admitted because my contractions were getting so intense. (0/10 do not recommend lol)⁣

⁣

FINALLY got my epidural at around 9 am after what felt like a lifetime of excruciating pain. Contractions before my epidural were 1.5-2 min apart so I was going through it 🤣⁣

⁣

Felt GREAT once epidural kicked in and it was waiting time. Contractions slowed a bit so we started me on pitocin to get stronger contractions.⁣

⁣

She started to not tolerate the contractions well on the pitocin and needed some intervention when her heart rate kept dipping.⁣

⁣

Added a catheter that went up next to her to add fluid as if my water hadn’t broken yet. ⁣

⁣

It seemed to help and they stopped the pitocin.⁣

⁣

Finally about 5:30 pm, my doctor came and said contractions without pitocin were not strong enough and she wanted to get baby out safely as she said one reason for her not handling contractions could be cord wrapped around her neck.⁣

So I got immediately prepped for a C-section.⁣

⁣

I won’t go into detail but it was the worst pain of my entire life (that’s not the case for everyone who has one, just my experience) ⁣

⁣

She was born 6:48 pm, 100% healthy. The cord was wrapped around her neck so this was the best decision to keep her safe and I’m grateful for that even though this was not what I had planned.⁣

She is an absolute doll and is just perfect. ⁣

⁣

My heart is so full and I am in love with my little Lemmie girl. ♥️⁣

Never knew if I wanted to be a mom, but this girl has completely changed me. ⁣

⁣

I love you Lemmie and I’m so grateful to be your mom. 💕⁣

⁣
