Let’s talk about wedding bands for men........
Hey guys! If you are getting married within the next year, then it’s time to start thinking about buying your wedding band. That is – if you haven’t already.
There are a few things to keep in mind.
Number one – if it’s not a precious metal like platinum, palladium or gold, then it can’t be resized or refinished. Titanium, tungsten, ceramic and anything else that’s man-made cannot be stretched or reduced.
Number two – as you get older, your weight might change. Some men lose weight. Many gain weight. This may mean a change in finger size. If your ring can’t go along with this change, then it’s either too big or too small.
Number three – your hands touch a ton of different surfaces during the day. So over time, almost all material will show signs of wear. Even the supposedly indestructible ones. Sure – tungsten won’t scratch easy. But it can break. Titanium will show dings after years of banging against things. However, precious metal bands can be refinished to look like new. In many cases – over and over.
