What are Low-Calorie Foods?

minerals. Many low-calorie foods are nutrient-dense meaning they provide

Healthy Fats

Beverages

Water should be the primary beverage you consume since it has zero calories
yet keeps you hydrated. Sip water throughout the day instead of sugary sodas,
juices and other sweetened drinks which can add excess calories that aren't
filling. If you want flavor, add slices of citrus fruit like lemons and limes
or try herb-infused water. Black coffee and unsweetened tea in moderation are
also calorie-free options. Low-calorie sparkling waters come in a variety of
flavors as a refreshing alternative to sugary drinks.



By focusing your diet on mostly low-calorie yet nutritious whole foods like
fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, beans and legumes you'll feel
satisfied at each meal and snack while taking in fewer calories overall.
