Duncan, British Columbia – There’s a sense of freedom that comes with recognizing that our personalities aren’t who we really are. Indeed, our inner self, who we really are at the deepest level, is the conductor of the orchestra made up of our subpersonalities - which are the many parts that make up our identity.
And while our sub-personalities are often in conflict, they can be shifted, altered and merged. Often, through deep levels of work, it can be noticed that a particular sub personality has fulfilled its purpose and is no longer needed and can be let go.
Kim Renée Coté is the founder of Inis Meadows Coaching (http://www.inismeadowscoaching.com), specializing in professional, personal and transpersonal coaching. Transpersonal coaching is a new form of coaching based on the spiritual psychology of psychosynthesis. Transpersonal Coaching is the exploration of “I" beyond self, beyond ego and works towards identifying a higher level of life's meaning and purpose.
“We all have the resources within ourselves to be a perfect success,” says Coté. “But in order to tap into our inner knowing, we need to awaken our center self to who we really are.”
According to psychosynthesis, there are two dimensions of growth: the personal dimension the western world focuses on like material goals, and the transpersonal dimension, which seeks meaning and higher purpose.
Clients typically visit Coté because they want to change something in their lives, but often what they really want to work on is at a deeper core level.
“Life coaching is all about helping our clients awaken to what they really want in their lives,” says Coté. “We take our clients out of their story and challenge them to create a shift in their way of being and thinking. We motivate our Clients to step powerfully into action toward a profound and lasting change.”
Coté’s program focuses on the four pillars of human existence: the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. She considers these pillars to be essential for a resourceful and balanced life.
“In coaching it’s so important that you go on a journey with the client,” says Coté. “You have no attachment to a certain outcome. You explore together with the client, all the while holding the space for the client to step in as the expert in the directions of his or her own life.”
Close-Up Talk Radio will feature Kim Renée Coté in an interview with Doug Llewelyn on August 29th at 4pm and with Jim Masters on September 5th at 4pm.
