Collins Entertainment Corp Takes the AUCTION Route
After 50 Years, a Jukebox & a Pinball they say “Sell It All, Regardless of Price!”
Super Auctions & JK Auctioneers have today announced they will be conducting a live auction on behalf of Collins Entertainment Corp. What began with a jukebox in the 1940’s, lead to a jukebox and a pinball machine and from there the rest became history. Mr. Fred J. Collins, Jr. and the history behind the Collins Companies’ Empire had been published in a local book “Historic Greenville, The Story of Greenville & Greenville County.”
After more than 50 years Collins has sold their amusement machine route operations and all of Collins coin-operated amusement machines will be sold in a one day live, on-site auction. Items will include hundreds of iconic Jukeboxes, Skill Pinball’s, Video Games, Pool Tables, Pinball Machines, Kiddie Rides and so much more. Nearly 800 items will be sold to the highest bidder, regardless of price.
The auction comes just in time for Christmas. If you’re a pinball fan, we’ll have titles such as Indiana Jones, Corvette, Harley Davidson and Theater of Magic. If you’re a video game fan, than you know Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga and Golden Tee and don’t forget what started it all, Jukeboxes.
Mark Meglic, COO of Collins states, “Mr. Collins lives on in the work of the Fred J. Collins Foundation. The Foundation has now contributed over $2,000,000 to the Salvation Army and continues to provide additional support to various organizations throughout the Greenville Community.”
