Bachelor Recap: Kacie Returns For Answers, Warns Ben About Courtney
With hometown dates behind him and only one more rose ceremony to go, Ben Flajnik took his final three ladies – Nicki, Lindzi and Courtney – to Switzerland for romantic overnight dates.
Ben’s first date with Nicki includes a helicopter ride, taking in the scenery from a mountaintop and a romantic fire-side dinner. Nicki says several times how she sees their lives together and how much she wants to find love again. Over dinner, they discuss serious topics including how many children they want. Ben says four while Nicki admits she has always wanted two. She says she is open to having a larger family. Nicki doesn’t hesitate to accept the overnight card.
The second date went to Lindzi. Ben takes her repelling down a 300-foot gorge and then to a hot tub where they enjoy the view and a cheese platter. Lindzi admits she came on the Bachelor as an “ice queen,” but says she has slowly broken down her walls to be vulnerable again. Ben loves how much she continues to open up with each date. Later at dinner, Lindzi surprises Ben even more when she admits she is in love with him. She also accepts the overnight card.
The final date went to Courtney. Ben takes her on a village shopping trip and countryside picnic. While eating lunch, Courtney admits to being ashamed of her behavior towards the other girls. Ben says her actions have been a big concern for him, so Courtney works to put his doubts to rest. She gladly accepts the overnight card.
Before the rose ceremony, Kacie B. surprises Ben at his hotel room. She came looking for answers about why he sent her packing the previous week. Ben says he feels they come from two very different backgrounds and any future relationship between them would not work out. Kacie accepts his answer and then warns him about Courtney being “in it to win it.” She says he will likely end up heartbroken if he chooses Courtney.
Ben goes in to the rose ceremony as confused as ever, but all of the warnings about Courtney are not enough to stop him from keeping her. Courtney and Lindzi receive roses. Nicki is sent packing.
