Ali Fedotowsky has landed another TV gig. The former Bachelorette star confirms she is set to host NBC’s upcoming travel show “1st Look.” The show will follow Fedotowsky as she travels across the United States in search of the best restaurants, hotels and night spots.
"We're thrilled to welcome Ali into the family. We want our viewers to feel like they’ve been invited to go on an adventure with Ali each week as they discover new and exciting places together. The mix of Ali's enthusiastic spirit and 1st Look style are sure to be a winning combo,” Marni Kupfer, the vice president of lifestyle production for television stations owned by NBC, tells the Hollywood Reporter.
Fedotowsky, 27, says she is “so excited” and feels “so blessed” to have landed the job. The first episode of 1st Look will air on April 14 after Saturday Night Live.
Fedotowsky first found reality TV fame on the 2010 season of The Bachelor with Jake Pavelka. She then starred on The Bachelorette and accepted a proposal from finalist Roberto Martinez on the season finale. Fedotowsky and Martinez called it quits last November.
"We were really trying to make it work, and realizing it wasn't getting better," Fedotowsky recently told E! News. "We were unhappy more than we were happy, and something needed to change...I didn't want to let people down. I felt anger from my followers, fans...The pressure was to make sure we did what would make both of us happy."
