Video: Police Detain Robert Kardashian
Robert Kardashian was nearly arrested early Sunday morning in Los Angeles after chasing down a photographer. Kardashian apparently followed the unidentified paparazzo into a smoke shop because the man was filming him arguing an unidentified blonde woman. As Kardashian calmly walks into the shop, the photographer can be heard calling for police and telling Rob to “get out.”
Two police officers then order Kardashian to leave the store, but the 25-year-old apparently does not move fast enough because they force him to put his hands behind his back. Kardashian tries to explain he was in the store to purchase something as one officer tells him to not resist arrest. The reality star is handcuffed while the photographer says, "He's attacking me… he chased me … he tried to kill me."
Police escorted the Dancing with the Stars alum to a police car. Kardashian was not charged in the incident and later released.
Kardashian’s drama comes just days after older sister Kim Kardashian was attacked by a woman at a charity event in Hollywood. Kim was walking the red carpet at the London Hotel for the launch of her new fragrance True Reflection when the unidentified woman tossed a plastic bag of flour at her. Flour coated Kim’s black jacket and hair.
After a brief break to clean up, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star returned to the red carpet and joked with reporters about the incident. "Like I said to my makeup artist, I wanted more powder and that's a whole lot of translucent powder right there,” she said.
