Kim Kardashian Refuses To Film Divorce Proceedings
For once it seems Kim Kardashian wants to keep something in her life off TV. The 31-year-old reality star is reportedly determined to keep her divorce proceedings free of cameras and film crews. RadarOnline.com reports Kardashian’s estranged husband Kris Humphries wants cameras rolling in court, but Kardashian has vowed to fight his request.
"Kris thinks it's somewhat ironic that Kim doesn't want cameras in the courtroom for the proceedings. What is Kim so afraid of? For someone that has filmed and documented her life for her reality shows you wouldn't think she is going to fight so hard to not have cameras there. Kris just wants the truth to come out about what happened during their marriage, period. Kris' attorney will argue that cameras should be in the courtroom because Kim has chosen to live her life in the public eye, and the divorce trial shouldn't be off limits,” an insider tells the magazine.
Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries last October after just 72 days of marriage. Humphries responded by filing for an annulment on the grounds of fraud. The New Jersey Nets star is said to have halted settlement talks until Kardashian publically admits that their marriage was a fraud.
“Kris wants Kim to admit to fraud, to admit the whole thing was staged for publicity, to make a public apology to him because he really wanted a marriage,” a friend of the basketball star said.
Neither Kardashian nor Humphries has commented.
