Big Brother 15 Week 8 Eviction Recap: Helen Is Evicted, Gets The Chance To Return
Elissa may have won the POV, but Helen knows that it doesn’t put an end of their troubles. Andy’s behavior has her entertaining suspicions that he isn’t actually on her side, so she turns on the tears and tells him that he is the swing vote this week. Andy, who does plan to send Helen packing, is offended that she would even doubt him. He runs to Amanda immediately to tell her what Helen is saying.
Helen lays the groundwork for an alliance with Aaryn, GinaMarie and Elissa, but they need one more vote to send Spencer packing. Still doubting Andy’s loyalty, Helen approaches McCrae. She encourages him to not let Amanda bully him and run his game. McCrae pretends to seriously consider her suggestions, but as soon as the conversation is over he tells Amanda everything. Amanda is mad that Helen is calling her a bully because it is a “personal” attack.
As a last effort to flip Andy, Helen tells him that he will be the next target for Aaryn, GinaMarie and Elissa if she is evicted. Andy is scared because his game strategy is to never put a target on his back. The girls’ threats aren’t enough to scare him into changing his vote though. At the live eviction, Andy votes to evict Helen along with Amanda and McCrae. Even GinaMarie votes to evict Helen. Helen is sent packing by a 4-1 vote.
After Helen sees her goodbye messages Julie Chen informs her that she will have a chance to return to the game thanks to a twist. Helen and the other jury members – Candice, Judd and Jessie – will compete in a challenge and the winner will return to the game.
Chen then reveals the twist to the houseguests. Amanda looks especially worried about the news. The jury members go back inside the house for a quick reunion with the houseguests, and then the entire group heads to the back yard for the jury and HOH competition. Everyone will compete in the same challenge simultaneously. The challenge involves standing on a moving ledge while trying to catch balls to fill up a tube. If they fall they are out of the competition. The first juror to fill their tube with 10 balls returns to the game and the first houseguest to fill their tube wins HOH. If a juror is the first to fill their tube out of everyone they become HOH. Everyone is still in the competition when the live show ends.
