Big Brother 15 Week 9 Recap: Power Shifts With Judd’s Return And Elissa’s HOH Win
After Helen’s eviction last week, the houseguests learned the jury members were returning to compete for a second shot at the game. The jury members, including Helen, competed alongside the houseguests in the week 9 HOH competition. The baseball-themed competition requires the players to catch 10 balls while balancing on a small moving ledge.
Helen lets her fellow jury members in on the happenings in the house. She tells them that GinaMarie is trustworthy and Andy is not. Meanwhile, Andy, Amanda, Aryn and McCrae are not happy about the new twist. Andy, Amanda and McCrae are all fighting hard for HOH because they realize they are likely the biggest targets for the jury members. Spencer and McCrae lose their balance and fall at the same time. Andy falls next, leaving the fate of the 3 A.M. alliance in Amanda’s hands. Jessie is the first jury member to fall. She leaves the game cursing at Amanda. Helen and Candice fall next and Judd officially re-enters the game. Judd eventually falls, leaving Amanda, Elissa and GinaMarie fighting for HOH. Amanda and Elissa both nearly fall, but they recover. Elissa scores her 10th ball and becomes the new HOH.
Amanda and Aaryn are forced to swallow their disappointment and act excited about Elissa’s HOH room. Elissa gets a letter from her sister Rachel Reilly and her much needed yoga mat.
Amanda is finally feeling lost in the game because she is unable to control Elissa’s HOH. After Elissa reveals that she intends to target Aaryn, Amanda and McCrae do their best to convince her that she should nominate GinaMarie instead of one of them. Elissa refuses to listen and insists it is better to nominate one of them with Aaryn.
Aaryn realizes she is the target so she approaches Elissa with a deal. She promises to do whatever Elissa wants her to if Elissa will keep her off the chopping block. Elissa refuses to budge, pointing out that she has tried unsuccessfully to work with Aaryn in the past. Elissa does agree to work with Judd. The pair makes a final 2 deal.
At the nomination ceremony, McCrae and Aaryn find themselves on the block.
