Bristol Palin Admits To Having Jaw Surgery
When Bristol Palin stepped out sporting a more angular jaw line, the 20-year-old teen sexual abstinence advocate sparked rumors of plastic surgery. Palin now tells Us Weekly magazine the rumors are not true.
“It’s not plastic surgery,” says the Dancing with the Stars alum.
Palin, who has a 2-year-old son with ex-fiance Levi Johnston, says she had surgery in December to correct an overbite. "I had corrective jaw surgery,” she explains. "It improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons...so my jaw and teeth could properly realign...I don't obsess over my face.”
Still, Palin admits she is “absolutely thrilled” with her new look. "I look older, more mature, and don't have as much of a chubby little baby face!" she tells Us Weekly.
The only way Palin says she would ever turn to plastic surgery to improve her looks is if she was left disfigured by an accident. "I wouldn't get plastic surgery unless I got in an accident or something terrible and got disfigured,” she adds.
Meanwhile, BIO channel recently announced Palin is set to star on an upcoming reality show with Disney star Kyle Massey and his brother Chris Massey. “Bristol is the kind of personality BIO is drawn to,” said BIO executive vice president for programming David McKillop. “Her personal life has been playing out in the media for several years but this will be the first time she’s opening up her real life, with her son and her friends the Massey Brothers.“
