Matthew Perry Returning to Rehab
Matthew Perry is returning to rehab to focus on remaining sober. The actor, who currently stars on the ABC show Mr. Sunshine, confirmed the news in a statement. He did not disclose the name of the facility where he will seek help.
“I'm making plans to go away for a month to focus on my sobriety and to continue my life in recovery. Please enjoy making fun of me on the World Wide Web,” Perry, 41, said.
Perry has battled substance abuse and addiction since the 90s. He completed his first stint in rehab for Vicodin addiction in 1997. Perry entered rehab for the second time in 2001 and was treated for alcohol and prescription drug addiction.
