Arnold Schwarzenegger Stops All Film Projects
Arnold Schwarzenegger is putting his professional life on hold while he focuses on rebuilding his personal life. In the wake of confessing to fathering a child with his longtime housekeeper, the actor has put all of his film projects on hold.
"At the request of Arnold Schwarzenegger we asked Creative Artists Agency to inform all his motion picture projects currently underway or being negotiated to stop planning until further notice. Governor Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines," Schwarzenegger’s office said in a statement. "This includes Cry Macho, The Terminator franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Governor Schwarzenegger decides."
Schwarzenegger and wife Maria Shriver announced their split last week after 25 years of marriage. Earlier this week, Schwarzenegger confessed to fathering a child more than 10 years ago with a member of their household staff. The woman has been identified as 50-year-old Mildred Baena. Birth records obtained by CNN show Schwarzenegger’s son with Baena was born just days after Shriver gave birth to their youngest son in September 1997.
