Emily Maynard Weighs in on The Bachelorette’s Bentley
Bachelor winner Emily Maynard has weighed on The Bachelorette’s new villain – single dad Bentley Williams. In a new video blog for Bachelor TV, Maynard says she hopes Ashley Hebert discovers Bentley’s games before she gets hurt.
“Whenever the bios came out on ABC’s website my first favorite was Bentley. God knows I love a guy in a plaid shirt uh but yeah, eww,” said Maynard. “I think we’ve all had that guy who has lied to us and told us everything we want to hear and then broken our hearts and I really hope he doesn’t do that to her this season.”
On this week’s episode of The Bachelorette, Bentley made it clear there is no chance he will fall in love with Ashley. “She’s obviously a beautiful girl. She has an amazing body — great butt, amazing legs,” he said. “To have her tickle my [bleep] would be amazing. That’s the extent of my interest. She is just not my type.”
Bentley admitted his competitive nature is what is keeping him on the show, not a relationship with Ashley. “I would literally rather be swimming in pee than planning a wedding with her, because I’m not thinking, ‘Oh my gosh this is the girl of my dreams.’ I’m thinking she’s not my type,” he said.
“Wow, that was kind of boring,” he later said of kissing Ashley before the rose ceremony. “It started out good, but it sucked toward the end. I’d be lying to everyone if I was like ‘I’m in this to the end. I’m gonna ride this out for two months.’ There is no way I’m gonna last that long.”
