Bachelorette Ashley Hebert: Bentley Hurt and Humiliated Me
Just three weeks in to her journey to find love on The Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert was dealt a low blow by the guy she was beginning to fall for – single dad Bentley Williams. Bentley left the show telling Ashley he needed to be with his young daughter, but the Salt Lake City resident told the cameras he really left because he was disappointed “ugly duckling” Ashley was the Bachelorette instead of "breathtakingly beautiful" Bachelor winner Emily Maynard. "I don't care about Ashley at all,” he said.
Now that Ashley has seen the real Bentley, she tells People magazine that she is humiliated. "I'm extremely humiliated. He had intentions to really hurt me – and he did,” the 26-year-old dental student says.
"I got played, just as maybe every woman in America has been played,” Ashley adds.
During his one-on-one time with the cameras in week two, Bentley said he had no interest in Ashley but would be willing to let her “tickle my pickle.”
“She’s obviously a beautiful girl. She has an amazing body — great butt, amazing legs,” he said. “To have her tickle my pickle that would be amazing. That’s the extent of my interest. She is just not my type.”
After kissing her at the cocktail party, Bentley said, “Wow, that was kind of boring. It started out good, but it sucked toward the end. I’d be lying to everyone if I was like ‘I’m in this to the end. I’m gonna ride this out for two months.’ There is no way I’m gonna last that long.”
