Crystal Harris Split From Hugh Hefner Over Lifestyle
Crystal Harris has admitted she called off her wedding to Hugh Hefner because she did not want his lifestyle. The 25-year-old Playboy Playmate announced her split from Hefner on Tuesday, just four days before the wedding. She opened up about the breakup Wednesday in an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show.
“This isn't the lifestyle for me,” Harris said.
She also admitted to having “second thoughts” for a while. "For a while, I'd been having second thoughts about everything, so I haven't really been at peace with myself lately. It was all just happening too fast for me,” Harris explained. “I just sat back and thought about it all. Is this what I wanted? And it wasn't."
Harris says Hefner, 85, agreed marriage “wasn’t the best idea.” “He was doing it (the wedding) for me because he thought it was what I wanted,” she said.
For now, Harris says she is focusing on her music career. "[I'm] working on a whole album," she added. "I sing and I write. I've been writing songs and I've been having so much fun with it all."
