Actor Doug Hutchison Weds 16 Year Old
Actor Doug Hutchison, best known for his roles in The Green Mile, Lost and The X Files, has married 16-year-old aspiring country singer Courtney Alexis Stodden. The wedding was held on May 20 in Las Vegas.
“Doug Anthony Hutchison and Courtney Alexis Stodden became husband and wife on Friday May 20th, 2011, at 12 pm in The Little Chapel of Flowers in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. and Mrs. Hutchison live together happily ensconced in their Hollywood Hills home with their lil' pups, Everette and Tuna!” says a post on Hutchison’s official website.
Hutchison and Stodden released this statement to E! Online: "We're aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial. But we're very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless."
Stodden had to have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to obtain a marriage license.
