Bachelorette Star Chris Lambton Engaged to Peyton Wright
The Bachelor franchise has produced another couple -- former Bachelorette finalist Chris Lambton and former Bachelor contestant Peyton Wright are engaged. Lambton’s rep tells People magazine the 34-year-old popped the question with a David Yurman diamond ring on Saturday at his Cape Cod home.
"Right after he did it (proposed), the entire family came over and joined us for a celebration at his house,” Wright tells Us Weekly magazine.
Wright, 28, says she and Lambton plan to “enjoy being engaged” before they begin wedding planning. "Once I get over the initial shock, I think we'll sit down and start putting together our ideas of what I like, what he likes, and what we've both envisioned,” she tells Us.
Lambton starred on The Bachelorette in 2010 and was considered a fan favorite. He was the last contestant to be eliminated by Ali Fedotowsky. Wright vied for the heart of Andy Baldwin on The Bachelor in 2007. She was eliminated in week 3. Wright starred on the first season of Bachelor Pad last year.
