I finally finished the moon and rocket ship mobile for the nursery! The rocket and stars are made of wool blend felt and the moon is made with Robert Kaufman's Essex linen blend fabric in charcoal. I sketched my moon, cloud and rocket patterns on paper before tracing them on the material. They are all attached with monofilament cord to give the illusion of floating in the air above the crib.
