Mega Brands America has launched a massive recall that will pull an estimated 2.4 million of its MagnaMan, Magtastik and Magnetix Jr. toys off the shelves and out of children’s closets following the discovery of a potential choking hazard.
The toys contain magnets that are said to come loose and could potentially find their way into the mouths of children. The danger is amplified when more than one magnet is swallowed as they are drawn to each other and could cause serious intestinal damage that may become fatal.
Mega Brands is offering a free replacement.
