I suffered for 6 weeks with excruciating lower back, buttocks and leg pain. I saw my Orthopedic doctor near my home in Woodstock, GA. She treated my pain with opioids and muscle relaxers. I suffered with the pain for 6 weeks before she suggested an epidural. That’s fine and dandy if I keep taking pills. But to cure it I needed more definitive answers. My good friend suggested I go see her massage therapist in Stone Mountain. I was skeptical but at this point I would try anything to get relief. She brought me last Thursday to The Miracle of Massage in Stone Mountain which is more than one hours drive from my home. This was not your run of the mill massage therapy. The therapist explained to me about how deep muscles are not being touched when you get normal spa massage.
On my arrival I had to be helped from the car into the office as I had trouble walking.The pain in my whole left side was excruciating. I went into therapy room and Brian began a two hour session. At the end I could not believe the difference. Not only did I walk back down the hall by myself, I felt like running. I walked to the car unassisted too. Even though the ride home was extended because we stopped to run some errands I still felt no pain. Well worth the trip.
Imagine after 6 weeks of prescription drugs from the Orthodontist that did not work, I finally felt relief. Upon arriving home I started the after care routine I was given.
WOW did it work. I continued this for 3 days. Then three days later I went for 2nd treatment after which we went to dinner and I walked around without pain. Today is Saturday and I feel so much better. I’m relieved that Medical Massage worked so well. I canceled the epidural procedure that was scheduled. It would have been a temporary fix.
