I’m starting my Aliyah journey and need a solid place to get info on benefits, tax breaks, and job support. A lot of sites seem outdated or too complicated. I found aliyah benefits and it looks promising, but I don’t want to waste time on something that’s not useful. Has anyone used it? Did it actually help you understand the process, or is there a better source out there?

A lot of other sources just throw information at you with no real structure, but this one kept it clear. My advice? Read everything twice. Some of the benefits have specific deadlines, and missing them can mean losing money.
The biggest mistake people make with Aliyah is assuming everything will just fall into place. Israel offers great support, but you still need to be proactive. Some benefits aren’t automatic—you have to apply for them, sometimes in a specific timeframe. And job hunting? That’s a whole other challenge, depending on your field. The best thing you can do is research and plan ahead so you’re not caught off guard.
