Picture: Bradley Cooper Visits Bombing Victim At Boston Hospital

Bradley Cooper took time out of filming a new movie in Boston this week to show his support of the Boston Marathon bombings victims. In a Twitter photo, Cooper and New England Patriots player Julian Edelman are seen next to the hospital bed of Jeff Bauman Jr., who lost both of his legs in one of Monday’s explosions.

“Visited #survivor #stud #heroJeffrey Bauman Jr. today,” Edelman tweeted. “He was looking great and is a true inspiration. #strong.”

Cooper also supported victims by attending Thursday’s interfaith service where President Obama spoke about the bombings. The Silver Linings Playbook actor is in Boston to film American Hustle alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Christian Bale.

A photo of an injured Bauman minutes after the attack went viral. The 27-year-old is show being rushed from the scene in a wheelchair by a police officer, a woman, and marathon spectator Carlos Arredondo. Arredondo is credited with saving Bauman’s life. He reached Bauman first and made a tourniquet out of someone’s sweater. “He had no legs. I told him, 'My name's Carlos, you're going to be OK, help is on the way,’” Arredondo has said.

Bauman helped the FBI identify a suspect this week. "He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, 'bag, saw the guy, looked right at me," his brother, Chris Bauman, said Thursday.

Bauman described to authorities how the man, wearing a baseball hat and wearing a dark jacket, sat a backpack down near the finish line and walked away. Minutes later the bomb inside the backpack detonated. According to reports, the man Bauman described was 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the FBI’s two suspects. The second suspect is Tamerlan’s 19-year-old brother Dzhokhar.

 Authorities caught up with Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Thursday night after they robbed a 7/11 convenience store, killed an MIT security officer and hijacked a car. A shootout ensued and Tamerlan was killed. Dzhokhar escaped on foot and remains at large.
