This post is the on the second best phone application to the Super flash lite on your cell phone…. The pedometer!, I love mine, I keep my phone on my hip nearly 24/7. This allows me to keep track of my steps. The best exercise is anything cardio, this superior to weight training, doing sport, yoga etc. Better yet is do cardio where you’re raising your heart rate.
Walking at a slow pace has some value, but to lose weight and tone up, cardio and with intensity is the key, if you’re not sweating and you’re not breathing heavy, probably not burning a ton of calories. I shoot to do about 20,000 steps a day, about 2000 steps to a mile and like to do at least a third with pretty high intensity. In the mix of my normal steps and fitness, I do sets of jumping Jacks about 100-200 at a time, Running in place 200-300 steps. This should take about 1 to 3 minutes. I love keeping track of my progress during the day and at a night. If I feel I didn't get enough steps in during my day of fitness and tennis instruction. I do my jumping jacks and or running in place. I also have a elliptical in my bed room. I shoot to get to a even number(hopefully near 20,000), nothing worse than looking the next day and see I came on few steps from getting to the next large even number. I use the Noom Walk app from the play store, there are many good ones to choose from. Till next time, Keep Moving!
