Cheez-It 355 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race to Include Team Fastrax™ Performance
The stars of NASCAR return to Watkins Glen International, both in the air and on the asphalt, as the race to the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup heats up during the running of the Cheez-It™ 355 on Sunday, August 7. Before defending race winner Joey Logano, along with Kevin Harvick, Brad Keselowski, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Kyle Busch and all of the stars of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series battle it out for the checkered flag, Team Fastrax™ will perform their patriotic demonstration parachute jump. A fan favorite, the jump will feature a 2,000-sq-ft American flag unfurled and waving in the breeze below their custom Cheez-It® parachute and accompanied by unique red, white and blue streamers.
John Hart, owner of Start Skydiving, and member of Team Fastrax™, said, “We are honored to be performing our patriotic American Flag skydive at such a thrilling event. The Cheez-It 355 is a very competitive race, and it’s sure to be an exciting weekend.”
According to the schedule on the Watkins Glen International website, the weekend will also include the Bully Hill Vineyards 100 and Zippo 200 at The Glen. This weekend’s activities will include Monster Energy Freestyle & Air Shows, a concert by Tim Dugger and Savannah Harmon with special guest Woodshed Prophets, and a Saturday appearance of the band Outshyne.
